A consultation is not a sales pitch. It is the appointment where it is determined what can be done in your case, in what order and with what limits.

Knowing what to expect helps you make the most of it and compare sensibly if you are consulting in more than one place.

What gets reviewed

The condition of the teeth, the gums and the bite is reviewed. All three matter: an aesthetic restoration placed over inflamed gums, or over a bite that distributes forces poorly, will not last.

If radiographs or records are needed, they are taken at the same appointment.

Questions worth bringing

What alternatives exist for my case and how do they differ? What happens if I do nothing? What long-term maintenance does it require? Which part of the plan is essential and which is optional?

A good consultation answers that last one too: separating what affects health from what is cosmetic lets you decide calmly and in phases.

What you should leave knowing

Your diagnosis, the applicable options, an estimate of timeframes and appointments, and what aftercare it will require. If you leave with only a price, half the conversation is missing.
